Its flagship product has rapidly become one of the leading recruitment apps in the SEA region particularly for non-executive job seekers. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive team. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will play a critical role in driving growth, operational excellence and ensuring customer success. Additionally, the COO will support the fundraising process and investor relations. This is a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction and operational performance of a leading online recruitment business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Excellence
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations with the operations team across their markets in SEA, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and policies to drive organizational success.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Success
- Ensure exceptional customer success by continually improving the user experience for both job seekers and employers.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to capture customer insights and drive product and service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the organization.
Marketing
- Oversee the Marketing department and ensure the development and implementation of effective marketing strategies, campaigns and promotional activities.
- Drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement initiatives
- Monitor market trends and competitor analysis to inform marketing tactics
- Ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives and goals.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships and strategic alliances to drive growth and expansion.
Human Resources
- Lead the Human Resources department and work with external HR agencies to attract, retain and develop top talent.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support a positive workplace culture
- Oversee performance management, employee relations and professional learning and development programmes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a COO or in a similar leadership role within a technology-driven company.
- Excellent operational management skills with a track record of driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven track record in achieving revenue targets
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
- Experience leading operations teams across multiple countries, preferably within SEA.
- Passionate about customer success and creating a positive user experience.
