Our client is a locally beloved café brand, known for its chill vibes, wholesome food, and commitment to authentic experiences. With a few outlets, the café is on a mission to expand while preserving its brand.
They are seeking a visionary Head of Growth and Operations to drive the café’s expansion while ensuring operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset and a passion for scaling businesses without compromising on brand authenticity. The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder in terms of realising brand vision, leading growth initiatives, streamlining operations, and enhancing customer experiences, all while preparing the café for long-term sustainability and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Growth Strategy & Expansion: The Head of Growth and Operations will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that focus on increasing market presence, opening new outlets, and driving revenue. This includes identifying opportunities for business development, partnerships, and innovation.
Operations Management & Efficiency: The role will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple outlets, ensuring that processes are optimized for consistency, quality, and productivity. The candidate will implement systems to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
Brand Stewardship: You will ensure that all growth initiatives align with and enhance the café's core values, preserving the brand’s authenticity and customer appeal.
Financial Management: The successful candidate will manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize for profitability. They will collaborate on pricing strategies and ensure the business meets its financial targets.
Team Leadership: The role includes building, leading, and developing a high performing team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture among store managers and staff.
Customer Experience: The candidate will ensure high standards of customer service and engagement, maintaining the café's unique vibe and values in every customer interaction.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in driving growth and scaling businesses, ideally within the F&B or hospitality industry.
Strong operational experience, focusing on optimizing processes and ensuring operational excellence.
A strategic thinker with a track record of successfully executing growth initiatives and managing expansion projects.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
Passion for food, hospitality, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
Ability to balance growth with brand integrity, ensuring the café’s ethos remains central.
