Product & Marketing Lead (SG/HK) - Sustainable Fashion Platform [23P12]

Our client is the largest resale platform for designer kids & maternity fashion in Asia. Their platform solution of frictionless online consignment removes the traditional hassle of children’s wear trade whilst campaigning for a circular retail future.  They have been operating in Hong Kong since 2016, in Singapore since 2021 and have plans to expand to Dubai and USA.

They are currently looking for the all hat’s product & marketing leader to help lead, drive and grow the business through product & marketing expertise and leadership. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define & execute company marketing & product strategy to help achieve revenue targets, impact targets and expansion markets execution.

  • Own marketing budget, build data-driven hypotheses for improving marketing performance, and execute. 

  • Lead and manage a team of 2:

    • A Marketing / Product Manager ( All hats marketing breadth + focus on product relating to website)

    • A Marketing Assistant (creative content marketer - email, website and all other creative assets)

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 8 years working experience in performance marketing/all hats marketing role & cross-discipline experience overseeing product and working closely with tech team to deliver product strategy, execution, research and analytics.

  • Critical to have worked at a start up or SME with hands in the doing, not just the management

    Product/Technical Attributes: 

    • Collaborative oversight of product roadmap & strategy

      • Sprint Planning - overseeing execution of technical specifications and full Sprint process across the team to execute best practices

      • Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.

      • Develop & maintain QA framework and resources - define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.

    • User research & data analysed through various tools - beta, surveys, focus groups, testing, recordings, various data sources etc.

      • Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements.

      • Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate and report on experiments and achievements vs targets of features, etc.

    • Working with third parties, evaluating APIs and capabilities, mapping out integration plans or evaluating different technology options 

    • Provide internal and customer training on how to use features

    • Assess and address technical risks

    • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation

  • Marketing

    • Prior experience with performance marketing with a consumer/tech company, start-up or SME with results to showcase re retention and acquisition strategies and execution.

      • SEO, SEM, Meta, Affiliate, email marketing, social content etc.

    • Experience managing & owning marketing budget & calendar

    • Proficient with managing team priorities with organisation tools such as clickup

    • Adept at data analysis and reporting

    • Prior experience managing creative content, comms strategy, brand positioning, geographic adaptations

    • Plus: Comfortable working in software such as Illustrator, InDesign, Canva or Photoshop

  • Soft Skills/Other

    • Excellent communication across teams

    • Fluent English. Cantonese and other languages are a benefit but not necessary

    • Obsession for organised workflows and finds data exciting

    • Innovative mindset, customer centric disposition and curiosity for going deep into the why or how, creative.

    • Strong integrity who can self-motivate and drive themselves and their team

    • Available to work in Hong Kong or Singapore with a working visa 

    • Plus: Familiarity with target demographic - parents (particularly mothers)
