Regional Financial Controller (SG) - HR Tech [23R02]

They are looking for a Regional Financial Controller to join their Finance team in driving and constantly improving their finance operations to maximise financial efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be overseeing the entire financial reporting process, including consolidating and delivering key financial data in an accurate and timely fashion, and in compliance with local and group requirements.
Recommend and spearhead improvement on the financial reporting processes and cash conversion cycle.
Brainstorm, execute and lead budget control initiatives, as well as improving on current budget tracking processes and budget variance.
Be a subject matter expert in our accounting and auditing, and provide training to internal teams to ensure uniformity and integrity in our financial data.
Lead our tax planning and compliance with consultants to improve tax efficiency.
Manage and lead a team of country finance managers in Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam; assist with hiring, and providing training and mentorship to build a world-class finance team.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 8 years of relevant experience, including preferably 5 years of experience in a Big 4 audit firm.
Possess relevant professional qualifications, such as CA, CPA or ACCA.
Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, month- and year-end closing and audit.
Prior experience managing tax compliance in key ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and SFRS; knowledge of the US GAAP will be considered favourably.
Prior experience in leading and managing a regional team.
Proven track record in driving cost or financial reporting process improvement.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with teams across different time zones.
A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
